SILVIO RONDELLI
Silvio Rondelli (aka Knife, @followtheknife, b.1988) is a visionary Italian multi-disciplinary
creator and Art Director: 3D artist, motion and sound designer; composer and multi-instrumentalist;
graphic designer and digital illustrator. Born in Mantua, he studied Creative Design at the Palladio Design Institute in Verona and began his career under the pseudonym Michael Knife, fusing haunting synthwave / darkwave soundscapes with startling visuals inspired by the legendary American crime serial Knight Rider.
With 10 years experience in User Interface (UI) / User Experience (UX), creative direction, graphic design and 3D artistry, he also worked as art director for a prestigious local agency before going freelance. He has brought his inimitable style to such prominent brands as Bauli, Caffè
Cagliari, Ripley’s Home Video, Cera di Cupra, Girella Motta, Chicco, Hero, Doria, Peugeot,
Samurai, Buff, and Novi.

Now he stands at the vanguard of the new digital frontier, taking on the NFT world by combining his enviable skill sets in unpredictable and challenging ways. He views the Metaverse as a truly meritocratic sphere, in which artists are wholly free to sincerely express themselves, while allowing the community to exact final judgement. This artistic carte blanche gives him permission to push beyond both the limits of his chosen media and his own personal boundaries.
His burgeoning international profile has seen his NFTs selling in an exclusive private auction in Shanghai called Jihae, organized by a Chinese talent-scout agency specializing in the
NFT market. His own collection ‘3D Otherworldly Creatures’ is minted through the
decentralised platform Ethereum (ETH).

He also creates NFTs on commission. He was recently chosen to represent luxury brand
Hogan / Tod’s Spa as one of five stand-out artists for an exclusive sold-out NFT
collection. Each unique artwork is accompanied by a soundtrack to immerse the viewer in a 360-
degree artistic universe. He has also provided modelling for the stunning freshly-minted Italian
DeadApeClub, created the exclusive series ‘Gold Zodiac’ for Miami crypto whale
AstrologyClubNFT, & realized an entire anti-war charity collection for a syndicate of Hollywood
investors.
After Crypto Gallery discovered his work on Instagram, they struck up a friendly professional
relationship which sees them representing him for exhibitions and connecting him with brands.
They also help him strategise within the NFT market – for example, they facilitated his NFT project
‘Celestials: The Divine Mutations’ with a specifically metaversal approach on the Polygon chain.
His interests include snowboarding and skateboarding, spearfishing, hiking and trekking. He
currently lives and works from his studio in the Lombardy countryside.
